Anshun City Bureau of Statistics Functional Information
(a) To implement the guidelines, policies, laws and regulations of the national statistical work, and undertake the organisation, leadership and coordination of the city's statistical work. It implements local statistical laws and regulations and guides the city's statistical work.
(b) Organise and carry out the city's national economic accounting work, account for the city's gross domestic product, provide national economic accounting information, and supervise and manage the work of the counties (districts) in national economic accounting.
(3) To draw up, in conjunction with the relevant departments, a census programme of the city's major municipal conditions and strengths, organise and implement the city's population, economic and agricultural censuses, and summarise, collate and provide census data.
(d) Collecting, summarising, collating and providing city-wide statistical survey data, and releasing real-time statistical information on the city's national economic and social development.
(e) To organise statistical analyses, statistical forecasts and statistical supervision of the city's economic operation, social development, scientific and technological progress, resources and environment, ecological value, new economy and social opinions, and to provide statistical information and advice to the Municipal Party Committee, Municipal People's Government and relevant departments.
(vi) Approving or filing departmental statistical survey projects and county (district) statistical survey projects in accordance with the law, guiding departmental statistical basic work and grass-roots statistical business infrastructure; establishing and improving the system of auditing, monitoring and evaluating the quality of statistical data. It carries out auditing, monitoring and evaluation of important statistical data, and supervises and manages foreign survey activities in accordance with the law.
(vii) Assisting in the management of county (district) director and deputy director of the Bureau of Statistics, guiding the city's statistical professional and technical team building, supervision and management of county (district) statistical departments provided by the central and provincial finance for statistical funding.
(viii) Establishing and managing the statistical information automation system and statistical database system, and guiding the construction of statistical informatisation system in various places.
(ix) Combined with departmental responsibilities, do a good job in military-civilian integration, poverty alleviation and development and other related work. It is responsible for production safety and fire safety in its own department and industry area. To do the work related to the development and application of big data and the management of governmental data resources in accordance with the regulations, and to promote the standardised management, sharing and opening of departmental governmental data resources in accordance with the law.
(j) Undertake other matters assigned by the Municipal People's Government and the Provincial Bureau of Statistics.
