Lanzhou Municipal Audit Bureau

The Lanzhou Municipal Audit Bureau oversees auditing activities throughout the city, responsible for auditing the authenticity, legality, and efficiency of municipal fiscal and financial receipts and expenditures. It submits annual reports on the execution of the municipal budget to the Municipal Party Committee Audit Commission and the Municipal Government. Acting on behalf of the Municipal Government, it submits reports on the execution of the municipal budget and the results of audit rectifications to the Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee. It audits the use of public funds, state-owned assets, state-owned resources, and the fulfilment of economic responsibilities by leading officials. It guides and supervises internal audit work within departments and units; verifies the quality of audits conducted by social audit institutions; exercises audit oversight over state-owned enterprises; and leads and supervises the operations of county and district audit organs in accordance with the law. The Bureau comprises 19 divisions, 10 branch offices, and an internal Party Committee.
