Baise City is located at the junction of Yunnan-Guizhou-Guizhou provinces (regions), bordering Vietnam to the south, with a border of 359.5 kilometres. The city has a total area of 36,300 square kilometres, with 135 townships (street offices) in 12 counties (cities and districts) under its jurisdiction and a total population of 4.23 million. Baise is a famous old revolutionary and ethnic area, as well as a national ecological aluminium industry demonstration base, the hometown of Chinese mango, and the frontier and window of China's openness and cooperation towards ASEAN.
