Lanzhou Housing Provident Fund Management Centre

The Lanzhou Housing Provident Fund Management Centre was established in April 2004. Operating under the leadership of the municipal government, it functions as a county-level institution with a public service nature and is managed in accordance with civil service regulations. It currently comprises nine internal departments: the Office, Research Department, Planning and Collection Section, Loan Management Section, Finance Section, Audit Section, Information Section, Inspection Section, and Service Management Section. It oversees eleven subordinate branches: the Railway Sub-centre, Lanzhou New Area Management Department, Chengguan Management Department, Qilihe Management Department, Xigu Management Department, Anning Management Department, Honggu Management Department, Yongdeng Management Department, Yuzhong Management Department, Gaolan Management Department, and Electric Power Management Department.

The Lanzhou Housing Provident Fund Management Centre is responsible for the administration and operation of housing provident funds within the administrative region of Lanzhou, as well as for the Lanzhou Railway Bureau system, State Grid Gansu Electric Power Company, and Yaojie Coal and Electricity Group. It compiles and implements plans for the collection and utilisation of housing provident funds; maintains records of employees' contributions, withdrawals, and usage of housing provident funds; and is responsible for the accounting of housing provident funds. Approves withdrawals and usage of housing provident funds; safeguards the value and repayment of housing provident funds; prepares reports on the implementation of collection and usage plans; oversees unified accounting for housing provident funds while guiding and supervising internal accounting at branches; submits financial reports to fiscal authorities and the Lanzhou Housing Provident Fund Management Committee, publishing them periodically to the public; handles other matters determined by the Lanzhou Housing Provident Fund Management Committee.
