The primary responsibilities of the Bijie Municipal Finance Bureau are as follows: to formulate, organise, and implement the city's fiscal and tax planning and policies; to oversee the management of all fiscal revenues and expenditures across the city; to manage the city's budgetary revenues and expenditures, treasury operations, government non-tax revenues, state-owned assets of administrative and public institutions, accounting work, and fiscal information technology infrastructure; It is responsible for fiscal supervision of local financial institutions, handling and supervising the city's fiscal management of economic development, supervising and inspecting the implementation of all fiscal revenues and expenditures, as well as relevant policies and regulations; it is responsible for compiling the annual city-level budget and final accounts draft and organising its implementation; it formulates expenditure standards and quotas, and reviews and approves the annual budgets and final accounts of departments (units); it makes decisions, plans, organises, coordinates, and supervises fiscal and economic activities.
