(1) Implement the national policies, laws, and regulations on statistical work, take charge of organizing, leading, and coordinating the statistical work throughout the state, ensure the authenticity, accuracy, and timeliness of statistical data, draft normative documents related to statistics, and guide the statistical work throughout the state.

(II) Organize and carry out the national economic accounting work in the whole state, calculate the regional domestic product of the whole state, provide national economic accounting materials, and supervise and manage the national economic accounting work of each county (city).

(3) Work with relevant departments to formulate the州-level major national conditions and national strength survey plan. Organize and implement the state-level surveys of population, economy, agriculture, etc., summarize, organize, and provide survey data.

(4) Collect, summarize, organize, and provide statistical survey data for the whole state, and regularly release statistical information on the economic and social development of the whole state.

(5) Organize statistical analysis, statistical forecasting, and statistical supervision of the economic operation, social development, scientific and technological progress, resource and environmental conditions, energy conservation and consumption reduction, social public opinion, and the process of building a well-off society in the whole state and the economic and social development of counties (cities), and provide statistical information and consultation suggestions to the state party committee, the state people's government, and relevant departments.

(6) Statutory approval or filing of statistical survey projects, county-level statistical survey projects, guidance of statistical basic work and basic construction of grassroots statistical work; establish and improve the system of statistical data quality review, monitoring and evaluation, and carry out the review, monitoring and evaluation of important statistical data; carry out statistical law enforcement and supervise and manage foreign-related survey activities in accordance with the law.

(7) Assist in the management of the county (city) statistical bureau's team building, guide the construction of the whole state's statistical professional team, and undertake the management of the central and provincial-level census funds and statistical special survey funds of the whole state's statistical system.

(8) Establish and manage the statistical information automation system and the statistical database system, and guide the construction of the statistical information system in all counties (cities) of the state.

(9) In line with the responsibilities of the departments, do a good job in military-civilian integration, poverty alleviation and other related work; increase scientific and technological investment, improve the capacity of scientific and technological innovation, and provide a guarantee for promoting innovation-driven development; do a good job in the development and application of big data and the management of government data resources in accordance with regulations, and promote the standardized management, sharing and opening of government data resources in accordance with the law.

(10) Other matters assigned by the provincial Party committee, the provincial government, and the provincial statistical bureau.

(11) Adjustment of responsibilities. The administrative responsibilities undertaken by the institutions under the state statistical bureau shall be returned to the state statistical bureau.
