Liupanshui City Natural Resources Bureau Functional Information
(a) Implementing laws and regulations on natural resources. It performs the duties of owners of all land, minerals, forests, grasslands, wetlands, water and other natural resource assets, as well as the duties of spatial use control of all land; formulates draft laws and regulations in this regard; and formulates relevant policies and supervises and monitors their implementation.
(ii) Responsible for natural resources survey, monitoring and evaluation. (viii) Responsible for organising the implementation of the strictest arable land protection system. It implements arable land protection policies and is responsible for the quantity, quality and ecological protection of arable land; organises and implements the assessment of the responsibility target for arable land protection and the special protection of permanent basic farmland; implements the system of arable land occupation and compensation balance, and supervises the implementation of the compensation system for the occupation of arable land.
(ix) Responsible for geological and mineral management.
